Kawika Burdine grew up watching his parents run their own volleyball coaching business. He saw the love of the game they shared with a community of people, and he always wanted a business of his own. Along the way, he ran operations for multiple small businesses and franchises, including L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Culligan Water, Welk Resorts, and Gourmet Events Hawaii. He always knew he would start a business with a farther reach than a local service provider, built on software and efficiency. In 2026, he started Stay Gone.
